Celebrate Your Success

Sometimes, I find myself admiring another photographers work and thinking - I wish I was that good.  I'm sure the thought has come across your mind at some point in time.  No matter what profession you persue, I want to remind you to "Celebrate Your Success"!

Often, we get so caught up with "Chasing the Dream" that we miss out on the "little" achievements along the way.  Those "little" achievements are sometimes more precious than the accomplishment of the main goal.  I once heard someone say, "Success is the accomplishment of goals".  That's the way I look at it now.  I'm not a "professional" photographer, but I have the skills to use the tools at my disposal, and create an image that I'm happy with.  So, in my mind, I'm succesful!

So, the next time that you find yourself feeling down, think about what you have accomplised and stay positive.  For you amatuer photographers out there, go back and look at some of your earlier work.  You'll be amazed at how much you've improved!
