Picking A Photo Sharing Site
I just HAD to do a post today being that the date is 10/10/10! To be honest, I didn't notice until about 15 minutes ago (7:20pm PST). This weekend I've been busy playing around with SmugMug photo sharing. I'm giving the 2-week trial a shot. If I like it, I'll be hosting Henderson Images Online there.
SmugMug allows me to display and sell images from one place. The last two years, I tried Exposure Manager, but didn't like the look and feel of my site. The website was primarily used as a place to upload proofs for my subjects to select their favorite images. This time around, I want more products for potential customers to purchase should I reach that level. I don't get too many paid jobs just yet, but I plan on marketing myself a little more this coming year. So, I want to have many quality products at the ready when the moment arises.
After reviewing a couple of other photo sharing sites, I'll most likely go with SmugMug. I like it so far, and the price is not too hard on my wallet.
