Seeing Improvements

I went to the IRL event at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. this past weekend. While there, I noticed a wonderful thing - my photography has improved from a year ago. The image shown above is of Helio Castroneves at Infineon in '07 (He was the 2008 winner). I had just bought the D40 a little while before the race. Even while shooting, I realized that my photography had improved. I was able to understand the lighting, get the correct exposure, as well as better focusing and composition. I'll post some pics as soon as possible for comparison. I still have a lot of PP to do. I have to say, there's something about the feeling that you get from improving your photography. I can't wait until next year!
