Shoot Something...Anything!

I haven't had a chance to shoot much lately due to a hectic work schedule. I can't travel like I would like, so I decided to start a project shooting old, rusty, or abandoned cars.
Daily, on my commute home, I drive by a repair shop that has these old cars parked out back. So, one morning while heading out to the market, I decided to stop and grab a few shots.
It's was only around 8 AM so the light was great. I got up as close as I could, and snapped away. I tried to find shots where the light was hitting the cars at the right angle. My goal was to catch the light as it was, which I did correctly.
The lesson here is to "Shoot Something...Anything!" So, start looking for everday objects, and shoot them from a perspective that might not show exactly what the object is. The more you shoot the better you'll get.
