Lightroom 2 Update
Adobe systems plans to release an update to Lightroom 2. The update will fix the problems found in this relatively new version. Lightroom 2.1 fixes a keyword problem for those who upgraded from Lightroom 1.x. It reduces crashes while using the Web module on 64-bit Windows Vista. Lightroom 2.1 also speeds up performance on Mac OS X machines. Those features had been promised to be released in the Lightroom 2.1 beta, released last month.
Lightroom is used to edit, catalog, print, and export photos, especially RAW photos taken directly from the camera. The new support in version 2.1 go together with Camera Raw 5.1. Many photographers now only need LR2, as it satisfies most needs that were once met by Photoshop.
